Description
CSL Behring supports investigator-initiated studies that advance medical and scientific knowledge of CSL products and the rare and serious diseases they are designed to treat. The program also considers innovative clinical and basic science research addressing questions in its therapeutic areas of interest. CSL serves as the grant provider; the investigator or sponsoring institution conducts the study independently.
Current areas of interest are immunoglobulins, hematology, hereditary angioedema and IgA nephropathy. Topics include gaps in care and immunoglobulin use; treatment patterns, resource use and outcomes in hematology; patient experience and disease control in hereditary angioedema; and disease course, burden and treatment in IgA nephropathy. Proposals aligned with these interests receive priority.
