Description
CSL Behring supports independent educational and advocacy initiatives that advance scientific understanding, empower patients and improve outcomes. The program looks for clear educational or advocacy value, scientific rigor and meaningful benefit to patients and healthcare professionals. Supported activities must be non-promotional; CSL does not direct their content, select speakers or guide materials, methods or venues.
Areas of interest include cardiovascular, renal and iron conditions; acquired and congenital bleeding disorders; hereditary angioedema; chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP); and primary and secondary immunodeficiencies. Within these areas, priorities include better diagnosis and disease management, patient blood management, shared decision-making, dissemination of clinical data and improvements in care delivery.
