Description
The Cultural Grants Program, administered by the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA), is designed to fund a wide range of public cultural activities and artistic presentations throughout Los Angeles. The program empowers nonprofit arts organizations and community-service organizations to propose projects in disciplines such as dance, music, theatre, and transdisciplinary arts, with occasional limited funding for other art forms. Special emphasis is placed on youth-education projects that culminate in public events, as well as on partnerships for outdoor festivals or parades.
