Description
The Cultural Grants Program, administered by the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA), funds free and low-cost public cultural activities and presentations across Los Angeles. The program aims to enrich the city’s cultural landscape by supporting a wide range of artistic projects—primarily in dance, music, theatre, and transdisciplinary arts—organized by nonprofit organizations and community partners. Special support is also available for multi-week youth education initiatives that culminate in public events, as well as for outdoor festivals and parades in partnership with arts professionals. The program encourages projects that engage diverse communities, foster job creation for local artists, and provide accessible, repeatable, and sustainable cultural experiences.
