Description
The Culture Blocks for Creative Individuals program, administered by the Arts and Science Council (ASC), provides funding for creative individuals to deliver free arts, science, and history experiences across Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The initiative focuses on increasing cultural access in historically underserved neighborhoods by supporting workshops, performances, festivals, and other community-driven programs. Funded by Mecklenburg County and delivered in partnership with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Libraries and Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation, Culture Blocks brings diverse programming directly to residents where they live, strengthening community connections and cultural participation.
