Description
The Iowa Space Grant Consortium (ISGC) Curriculum Development Program provides funding to faculty at ISGC Core Institutions and Academic Affiliates for the creation and enhancement of STEM-related curricula. The program is designed to advance student skills and workforce readiness by supporting projects that align with NASA Mission Directorates, including Aeronautics Research, Mission Support, Science, Exploration Systems Development, Space Operations, and Space Technology.
Funded projects should emphasize hands-on instruction, use of NASA digital resources and data, and foster interdisciplinary learning and partnerships between educators and industry. Direct involvement of students in curriculum development and a focus on sustainability and educational impact are strongly encouraged. Awards are made through a competitive process and evaluated on NASA relevance, educational merit, management plan, evaluation strategy, and budget justification.
