Summary: Supports accredited higher education institutions in developing or enhancing humanities curricula focused on Western civilization, American history, government/civics, and/or the Great Books tradition.
This program supports formal education by strengthening the teaching and study of the humanities at accredited institutions of higher education. For the 2026 cycle, projects must focus on Western civilization, American history, American government and civics, and/or the Great Books tradition. The grant funds development or enhancement of courses, programs, or resources, as well as faculty development and teaching partnerships. Outputs may include new or revised curricula, teaching materials, faculty workshops, and institutional partnerships to enrich humanities education.
