Description
The Customized Training Program, administered by the North Carolina Department of Commerce in partnership with the state’s 58 community colleges, delivers personalized workforce education and support services to eligible businesses across North Carolina. The program is designed to help companies address specific operational needs—such as job growth, technology upgrades, and productivity improvements—by developing and delivering tailored training solutions. Training is typically developed in close consultation with the employer and implemented either on-site, online, or through community college partners. The initiative aims to strengthen North Carolina’s economic competitiveness by supporting both new and existing businesses in building a skilled, adaptable workforce.
