Description
The Fulbright Scholar Program supports one U.S. scholar at the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) to advance applied cybersecurity research and teaching. Activities combine 70% research with 30% teaching, supporting UDST’s cybersecurity degree program and master’s program in artificial intelligence and cognitive cybersecurity. The scholar teaches one three-credit course per term at the bachelor’s and/or master’s level across three academic terms.
Working closely with the holder of the NCSA Cyber Security Professorship Chair, the scholar strengthens collaboration between UDST’s College of Computing and IT and Qatar’s National Cyber Security Agency. Research addresses critical cybersecurity challenges and contributes to Qatar’s cybersecurity ecosystem. Responsibilities also include student mentoring, faculty and curriculum development, public talks, and host-community engagement supporting Fulbright’s mission of international understanding and cooperation.
