This Fulbright U.S. Scholar award places an American academic at the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) in Qatar for one academic year. The scholar will dedicate approximately 70% of their time to applied research in cybersecurity—working closely with the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) and the NCSA Cyber Security Professorship Chair—and 30% to teaching one 3-credit-hour course per term at the bachelor’s and/or master’s level. Additional responsibilities include mentoring students, contributing to curriculum and program development, and strengthening Qatar’s cybersecurity ecosystem through collaboration and knowledge exchange.
The award aims to advance both research and educational capacity in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence at UDST, supporting the institution's growing degree programs and national priorities.
