Description
Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory’s Cynthia R. Stebbins Fellows Program gives early-career scientists the opportunity to direct independent, high-risk, high-return research rather than follow a traditional postdoctoral path. It supports work in molecular biology, genetics, biochemistry, structural biology, cancer biology, neuroscience, plant biology, and computational biology. Fellows can build on prior research, explore new directions, and collaborate with CSHL faculty while pursuing their own scientific vision.
The program aims to advance fellows’ scientific and personal growth through mentorship, laboratory resources, and professional development. Fellows have their own laboratory space and technician, administrative support, and access to Laboratory resources. The program also seeks to bring together researchers with varied perspectives and encourage work across disciplinary boundaries.
