Description
This grant program assists Minnesota dairy farms and processors in building robust business plans that support operational growth, improvement, or transition. Funding is available to cover half the cost of hiring qualified, independent third-party professionals who provide technical assistance for evaluating operations, planning expansions, environmental upgrades, market research, legal and transition consulting, or other business modifications. The resulting business plan must include an executive summary, strategic goals, analysis of proposed changes, and financial projections to ensure the long-term viability of the dairy business.
