Description
The Dana NextGen program, offered by The Dana Foundation, is designed to catalyze a new generation of interdisciplinary experts equipped to transform neuroscience and neurotechnology by centering societal needs throughout research and development. The program funds innovative projects that foster neuroscience and society training opportunities and workforce development for early career individuals—from undergraduates through pre-tenure faculty. Emphasis is placed on cross-disciplinary collaborations bridging neuroscience with fields such as ethics, law, arts, policy, journalism, and public engagement. Projects should prioritize experiential learning, network-building, and the development of skills to address the ethical, legal, and societal impacts of neuroscience.
