Description
The Data Science Investigator Programme is a major initiative of the Novo Nordisk Foundation to strengthen Denmark’s academic landscape in data science and computational science. The programme funds excellent research leaders at three distinct career stages—Emerging, Ascending, and Distinguished Investigators—enabling them to develop new algorithms, methods, and technologies or to apply data science approaches to critical areas such as health, sustainability, life sciences, and technical sciences. The ultimate aim is to increase the pool of highly skilled data science professionals in Denmark and foster research excellence with societal impact.
