Description
The David A. Evans Award for the Advancement and Education of Organic Synthesis, presented by the American Chemical Society (ACS), honors individuals who have demonstrated exceptional accomplishments in both the research and educational aspects of organic synthesis. Established in 2023 and supported by the David A. Evans Award Endowed Fund, the award aims to celebrate and encourage excellence in scientific innovation and the dissemination of knowledge within the field of organic synthesis. The recipient receives a $5,000 honorarium, a certificate, and reimbursement of up to $2,500 for travel expenses to the ACS national meeting where the award is presented.
