Description
The David C. Herriman Fund, managed by Greater Cincinnati Foundation (GCF), supports the arts community of the Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana tri-state region. Established by David Herriman in 1986, the fund received a large portion of his estate after his death in 2017 and was restructured to provide responsive grants to regional performing arts organizations.
The fund’s purpose, in Herriman’s words, is “to make possible what otherwise would be impossible.” It supports bold, innovative, and transformative projects that advance the regional cultural landscape and help performing arts organizations pursue ambitious creative work. At its Advisory Committee’s request, GCF issues a Request for Proposal to solicit applications.
