Description
The Program on Georgian Studies at Harvard’s Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies offers research grants to Harvard faculty working on Georgia. Faculty from any discipline and at any career stage may seek support for research travel to Georgia or for projects that incorporate Georgia into comparative or interdisciplinary inquiry. Funded projects must have a primary focus on Georgia, although they may also address the broader South Caucasus region.
The program’s broader mission is to deepen and broaden Georgian studies through research, teaching, scholarly and cultural exchanges, and outreach. It encourages interaction with Georgian scholars and supports academic partnerships that connect Georgia-related scholarship across disciplines and national contexts.
