Description
The Basic Science Travel Awards, presented in partnership with the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract (SSAT), are designed to support early career researchers whose basic or translational science abstracts have been accepted for presentation at Digestive Disease Week (DDW). The award provides a $1,000 travel grant to help offset the costs of attending DDW, enabling recipients to present their research and engage with the GI science community in person. Up to 20 awards are made annually, fostering the participation and professional development of emerging investigators in gastrointestinal research.
