Description
Debating ideas is an Institut français project-support programme dedicated to the cooperation and cultural action network’s work in the diplomacy of ideas and knowledge. It supports the organisation of a “Night of Ideas” alongside an annual cycle of debates, linking debate-based cultural action to the diplomatic post’s strategy of influence.
The programme brings together a named event and a year-round debate cycle within the post’s diplomatic priorities. The Night of Ideas can take place on a date chosen by the post, rather than on a single date prescribed by the programme. Full programme information is reserved for members of the cultural network through the Institut français Network Area.
