Description
The DeHaan Artist of Distinction Award, administered by the Indy Arts Council and funded by the Christel DeHaan Family Foundation, provides up to five annual grants of $10,000 each to contemporary visual artists in Indiana. The award is designed to support aspirational, risk-taking projects that push the boundaries of an artist’s creative practice. Projects must be completed within 12 months and culminate in a professionally curated group exhibition at Gallery 924. The program encourages innovation, exploration, and artistic growth, and recipients are required to document their project’s impact and outcomes.
