Description
The DeHaan Artist of Distinction Award, administered by the Indy Arts Council and funded by the Christel DeHaan Family Foundation, recognizes and supports contemporary visual artists based in Indiana. The program awards up to five grants of $10,000 each year for innovative and aspirational visual arts projects. Awarded projects must be completed within 12 months and culminate in a professionally curated group exhibition at Gallery 924 in Indianapolis. The award aims to empower artists to take creative risks, expand their practices, and contribute new perspectives to the field of visual art.
