This opportunity supports translational research projects that move promising ideas in spinal cord injury (SCI) research toward clinical application. The FY26 Spinal Cord Injury Research Program (SCIRP) Translational Research Award (TRA) is designed to bridge the gap between laboratory discoveries and their implementation in clinical practice, with the goal of improving outcomes for individuals with SCI, including military service members, veterans, and civilians. Projects must address at least one SCIRP program priority area: acute injury intervention, secondary health effects, psychosocial well-being, or rehabilitation and regeneration.
