Description
The Welch Foundation’s Departmental Grants program is designed to strengthen research in chemistry and closely related fields at small and medium-sized educational institutions across Texas. The program provides funding to departmental faculty and creates opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students to gain laboratory research experience, scholarships, and exposure to professional meetings and conferences. The aim is to inspire students toward careers in chemistry and build institutional research capacity in the chemical sciences.
