Description
The Dermatologic Surgery Career Development Award, offered by the Dermatology Foundation, is designed to foster the career progression of junior faculty dermatologic surgeons by supporting innovative research projects. The award aims to advance the field through studies in areas such as skin cancer, surgical management, Mohs micrographic surgery, wound healing, surgical complications, patient-reported outcomes, laser surgery, and noninvasive imaging. In addition to research, the award is focused on developing recipients’ teaching and leadership abilities within dermatologic surgery. The program seeks to empower the next generation of leaders and innovators in the specialty.
