The Dermatology Foundation, in collaboration with the Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance (PeDRA), offers this mid-career research award with sponsorship from Regeneron for the 2027 cycle. It supports outstanding investigators with an established record of excellence in basic, clinical, or translational science who study pediatric dermatologic-related skin disorders.
Funded projects should be hypothesis-driven, span three years, and generate innovative findings that deepen understanding of pediatric dermatological issues. Applicants are expected to actively pursue “R” funding to advance their research and academic careers in dermatology. The Foundation encourages applicants from minority populations and research addressing health issues affecting racial minorities, sexual and gender/LGBTQ minorities, and underserved or disadvantaged populations.
