Description
This Horizon Europe call supports research and innovation projects focused on developing new antibacterial and antifungal agents to combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR). The aim is to accelerate the clinical development of innovative therapies—including antibody-based treatments—that introduce new chemical classes, targets, or modes of action, and avoid cross-resistance. Proposals must target a single, high-priority drug-resistant pathogen (from a specified list) and should advance candidates through late preclinical and clinical development, including regulatory engagement. The initiative is part of the EU's strategy to diversify the AMR therapeutic pipeline and reinforce its leadership in global health security.
