--- ## Description This grant supports collaborative research projects focused on the clinical development of predictive biomarkers for chronic non-communicable diseases (excluding cancer), leveraging established artificial intelligence (AI) methodologies. The aim is to integrate data from clinically used and candidate biomarkers with longitudinal and real-world clinical data to generate novel, multimodal predictive biomarkers. Projects should establish multidisciplinary collaborations, map and evaluate existing biomarker data, adapt and apply AI methods to identify new predictive biomarkers, and develop user-friendly decision-support tools for clinicians. Emphasis is placed on AI trustworthiness, bias assessment, and privacy compliance.
