Description
This collaborative funding initiative, jointly administered by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the Brazilian Federal Agency for Support and Evaluation of Graduate Education (CAPES), supports bilateral research projects in the field of law. The program seeks to promote innovative legal research across a broad spectrum of topics, including but not limited to Technology and Law, Digital Law, AI and Law, Data Protection, Democracy, Consumer Law, Criminal Law, and Environmental Law. Proposals must demonstrate the added value of international cooperation, with both German and Brazilian partners making complementary and substantial contributions. The initiative aims to foster strong, sustainable research networks through joint activities such as workshops and annual meetings alternating between Germany and Brazil.
