Description
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS), Division of Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, is seeking applications from individuals interested in joining its Driver/Support Service Provider Vendor List (DSSPVL). Accepted vendors will provide on-demand transportation and essential support services—including human guidance, tactile or visual communication facilitation, and access to printed/visual materials—for DeafBlind or Blind consumers, staff, contractors, and clients statewide. The goal is to ensure equal access and independence for individuals with combined vision and hearing loss. Vendors will be called upon as needed for activities such as meetings, trainings, and community events, and must uphold high ethical and professional standards.
