Description
The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation accepts applications on behalf of local corporate and family donor-advised funds. Donor advisors set each fund’s priorities, exclusions, award decisions and timing. Depending on the fund, grants can support programs or projects, capital work, and event sponsorships. Priorities span historic preservation, health and access to services, food insecurity, sustainability, the environment, diversity and inclusion, children’s needs, education, and community betterment.
Diamond V prioritizes food insecurity, sustainability, the environment, and diversity and inclusion. Competitive Donor-Advised Funds are separate from the foundation’s Program Support and Organization Support programs; applications to these funds do not count toward those programs’ application limits.
