Description
The Dibner Library Resident Scholar Program provides short-term support for scholars to undertake research using the rare books and manuscripts in the history of science and technology at the Smithsonian Libraries and Archives' Dibner Library. The program is intended to foster original scholarship that makes substantial use of these unique primary sources, with a focus on mathematics, astronomy, natural philosophy, physics, engineering technology, and scientific instruments. Both U.S. and international scholars are eligible, with awards supported by the family of Frances K. Dibner.
