Description
Funded by the Digital Europe Programme, this action supports the Cyber Solidarity Act’s Cybersecurity Emergency Mechanism. It aims to improve protection and resilience against cyber threats across the EU, particularly for critical industrial installations and infrastructure. Projects provide knowledge, expertise and preparedness support services that complement Member State and Union-level efforts.
The action covers coordinated preparedness testing in sectors of high criticality and other preparedness activities in highly critical and other critical sectors. Supported work includes penetration testing, threat and risk assessments, cybersecurity capability evaluations, cyber-ranges and exercises covering information technology and operational technology. Other priorities include supply chain risk management, continuous risk monitoring, coordinated vulnerability disclosure, and training and workshops to improve skills, compliance and cooperation.
