    Description

DigiWind NTNU Open Call 2 supports final-year bachelor’s and current master’s students undertaking six-month international study placements in Trondheim, Norway, during Spring or Autumn 2027. Students take courses within NTNU’s M.Sc. Electric Power Engineering or M.Sc. Marine Technology programmes, advancing skills relevant to the digitalisation of wind and energy systems.

The call forms part of DigiWind: Digital Masters of Wind and Energy Systems, funded through the European Commission’s Digital Europe Programme. It aims to lower barriers to specialised education and develop a workforce equipped to contribute to Europe’s green-digital energy transition. NTNU independently administers the call, selects recipients and provides funding in its own name and under its own responsibility. DigiWind and NTNU particularly encourage applications from women, economically disadvantaged students and people contributing to demographic diversity in wind energy.
