Description
The Ohio Office of Criminal Justice Services (OCJS) administers this state grant, developed in partnership with the Ohio General Assembly. It funds direct assistance for people who have experienced trafficking and those considered at high risk. Supported services include victim advocacy, mental health care, education and employment support, and shelter and housing.
The program serves providers working in individual Ohio counties and statewide. OCJS has prioritized evidence-based, survivor-informed programming and identified advocacy, shelter, employment services, peer support, culturally specific services, clinical services, and hospital advocacy as areas of need. Funding continued in Ohio’s fiscal year 2026–2027 operating budget.
