Description
This program provides financial assistance to incorporated snowmobile clubs and political subdivisions in Maine for the repair and restoration of state-funded snowmobile trails that have suffered significant damage from catastrophic weather events. The goal is to restore trail connectivity and functionality, focusing on emergency remediation such as bridge repair or replacement, erosion control, and vegetation management resulting from storms or similar incidents. Routine maintenance and damages resulting from substandard practices are not eligible.
