Description
The Disaster Response & Resilience Fund, managed by the Humboldt Area Foundation, provides rapid and strategic funding for organizations addressing disasters—such as fires, earthquakes, and floods—in Humboldt, Trinity, Del Norte, and Curry counties, including neighboring Tribal lands. The fund supports immediate response, community recovery, and long-term resilience, prioritizing the needs of the most vulnerable populations and aligning with goals of racial equity, just economic development, healthy ecosystems, and thriving families. Funding is available for urgent needs during active disasters, stabilization efforts in the aftermath, and projects that build resilience to future shocks and stresses.
