Description
The Disaster Response & Resilience Fund, managed by the Humboldt Area Foundation, is designed to support nonprofit and public benefit organizations serving Humboldt, Trinity, Del Norte, and Curry counties, as well as adjoining Tribal lands. The fund addresses immediate disaster response, community recovery, and long-term resilience, with a focus on the region’s most vulnerable populations. Guided by a commitment to racial equity, just economic development, healthy ecosystems, and thriving youth and families, the fund prioritizes strategic, community-centered solutions to strengthen both rural and Native communities against disasters such as fires, earthquakes, and floods.
