Key Information: NICHD seeks a shared, web-based research platform integrating existing clinical, pharmacogenomic, and multi-omic data.

    Description

The Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), part of NIH, seeks to establish a single Discovery Gateway to Reproductive Health Innovation. The comprehensive knowledgebase will expand shared resources and infrastructure for research on male and female reproductive health indications, including preeclampsia, endometriosis, preterm birth, infertility, and uterine fibroids.

The Gateway will integrate existing clinical, pharmacogenomic, and multi-omic data through an open-access, web-based visualization platform. Its goal is to address critical knowledge gaps and generate insights beyond individual research efforts. By identifying disease mechanisms, effector genes, biomarkers, and drug targets, the initiative aims to catalyze new treatments and cures, support innovative commercial products, and accelerate public-private partnerships.
