Description
The Society for a Science of Clinical Psychology (SSCP) Dissertation Grant Award recognizes and supports students whose dissertation projects have already been approved. The program considers the proposal as a whole alongside the resources available to carry out the work, including funding already received relative to the project’s estimated total cost.
At least one grant each year supports a project contributing to diversity in clinical science. Applicants seeking consideration for the DEI Dissertation Award must belong to an underrepresented group, broadly defined, and conduct diversity-related research. The research plan describes the project’s objectives, significance, gaps in existing knowledge, relevant preliminary studies, and methods for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data.
