Description
The Distinguished Awards in Teaching Programme, offered by the United States-United Kingdom Fulbright Commission, recognizes and supports outstanding K–12 educators from the United States by providing them with opportunities to conduct research and participate in professional development abroad. Selected Fulbright Distinguished fellows pursue individual inquiry projects relevant to both US and host country educational systems, take academic courses at partner universities, and engage in the cross-cultural exchange of educational practices. This program is distinct from the core Fulbright Scholar Awards and is designed specifically to foster educational excellence and innovation among teaching professionals.
