Description
The Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Research Program (Fulbright DA), presented by the United States-United Kingdom Fulbright Commission, recognises and encourages excellence in teaching in the United States and abroad. It provides K–12 educators from the United States with opportunities to conduct research and pursue professional learning overseas for three to six months.
Fellows complete an individual inquiry project on a topic relevant to education in both the United States and their host country. They also take courses at a host university and share educational practices with colleagues. The Distinguished Awards in Teaching operate separately from the core Fulbright Scholar Awards.
