The Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology (SCCAP), Division 53 of the American Psychological Association, presents this award to recognize a career of scientific achievement. It honors an established body of work rather than funding a proposed research project. Research contributions and the development of new knowledge are the central basis for nomination, including major empirical and/or theoretical achievements.
The area of scientific contribution is open. SCCAP particularly encourages nominations of scientists whose work contributes to equity, diversity, and inclusion. The award recognizes prominent researchers whose contributions have broadly shaped clinical child and adolescent psychology, including advances in training and education, public policy, and/or scientific practice.
