Description
Administered by Fulbright Israel, also known as the United States–Israel Educational Foundation (USIEF), this fellowship supports four-month visits to accredited Israeli institutions of higher education. It welcomes proposals in all disciplines from experienced academics, senior professionals, and accomplished artists and writers. Supported activities include research chosen by the applicant or host, undergraduate and graduate teaching, student advising and mentoring, and faculty, curriculum, or program development.
The fellowship combines academic exchange with Fulbright’s mission of strengthening relationships and mutual understanding between people in the United States and other countries. Scholars are expected to engage actively with their host institutions and may be asked to give public talks, mentor students, or participate in their host communities alongside their primary academic work.
