    This award supports a distinguished U.S. scholar in the humanities or social sciences to teach one regular undergraduate or graduate course within the Faculty of History, Faculty of Philology, or Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Gdańsk, Poland. Beyond teaching, the scholar may engage in research, give talks, run workshops, consult and mentor researchers, and participate in faculty and program development. The University of Gdańsk is the largest university in northern Poland, offering access to extensive research centers, archives, museum collections, and unique fieldwork opportunities.
