Description
This Fulbright Distinguished Scholar award supports teaching and research at Yonsei University’s main campus in Sinchon, Seoul, or International Campus in Songdo, Incheon. Offered through the Fulbright Scholar Program in cooperation with Yonsei, it seeks scholars across all academic disciplines to promote internationalization of Korean higher education and strengthen educational, research, and cultural ties between South Korea and the United States.
Scholars participate in their host department’s research and academic life while teaching one graduate or undergraduate course each semester, with approximately three classroom hours weekly. Courses are selected in consultation with the department. Research may be scholar-designed or designated by the host. Activities may also include student mentoring, faculty and curriculum development, program development, public talks, and host-community engagement.
