Key Information: Applicants must be in at least their third year of DivCHED membership when applying.

    Description

The DivCHED Travel Award is administered by the ACS Division of Chemical Education to help members attend professional meetings. It supports participation that benefits applicants professionally, increases their engagement with the division, and enhances their contributions to chemistry education at the local, regional, or national level. The application identifies the Spring ACS National Meeting and the Biennial Conference on Chemical Education as meetings of interest.

The award addresses financial barriers to attendance by asking applicants to explain how support would enable them to attend a meeting they otherwise could not attend. Applicants also describe their previous professional meeting attendance, involvement in DivCHED activities, and a proposed paper or poster for the division’s program.
