Description
The Capacity Building program provides operational funding to nonprofit organizations to address critical needs often overlooked by other funders. Supported activities include technology upgrades, professional development, diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ) initiatives, tax and audit preparation, office improvements, and access to compensation data. The program aims to help nonprofits operate more efficiently and equitably, empowering them to better serve their communities and fulfill their missions. Priority is given to smaller-budget organizations among current grantees, with a focus on building trust and fostering organizational growth beyond traditional programmatic funding.
