The Diversity Leadership Fellowship, funded by the APA Foundation, is designed to identify and motivate minority psychiatry residents or those interested in serving minority and vulnerable populations. The program aims to develop leadership skills in psychiatry, foster a deep understanding of the life experiences of racial and ethnic minority communities, and build a professional network among psychiatrists committed to minority mental health. Fellows gain exposure to APA/APAF governance, participate in exclusive events, and receive sponsorship to attend key APA meetings.
