Description
This award honors outstanding doctoral dissertations that investigate any aspect of group phenomena, using any methodology and focusing on any type of group. The purpose is to recognize significant contributions to the field of group psychology and group psychotherapy. The winner is announced and the prize is conferred at the annual convention of the American Psychological Association. In addition to the monetary award, the recipient receives a plaque and a three-year membership to Division 49 (Society of Group Psychology and Group Psychotherapy).
