Key Information: Applicant divisions must be current on Annual Reports and IPG reports, with no more than two standard IPGs active at once.
Description
The American Chemical Society’s Divisional Activities Committee (DAC) funds new Division projects through Division Innovative Project Grants. The program supports distinctive opportunities that serve Division members, recruit new members, retain existing members, and strengthen future divisional success. It encourages collaboration among Divisions and other governance groups, as well as the spread of successful innovations from one Division to others.
Alongside standard Innovative Project Grants, the program offers Strategic Planning Grants for divisional leadership and Translational Project Grants for new, innovative applications of previously successful IPGs. Communication Improvement Grants support professional improvements to member communications, including social media, websites, online materials, newsletters, and email blasts. Across these opportunities, the emphasis is on innovation, member service, planning, collaboration, and more effective communication.
