The DLR-DAAD Research Fellowship Programme is a collaborative initiative between the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), designed to promote international research in the fields of aeronautics, space, energy, and transportation. This program offers highly-qualified foreign graduate students, doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and senior scientists the opportunity to conduct research at DLR institutes across Germany. The fellowship aims to support Germany’s space program and foster international scientific collaboration by integrating researchers into DLR’s extensive research network.
Fellowship positions are posted individually and specify the research topic, requirements, and duration. Applicants may only apply to research opportunities hosted at DLR institutes (not universities or other institutions).
