Description
The Native Artist Fellows program, administered by the Indian Arts Research Center at the School for Advanced Research (SAR), offers three annual residential fellowships designed to nurture the creative growth of Native American artists. These fellowships provide artists with dedicated time, resources, and a supportive environment to pursue new artistic directions, experiment with innovative ideas, and refine their craft. Eligible disciplines are broad, spanning sculpture, painting, basketry, performance, digital art, photography, pottery, writing, film, and more. Each fellowship includes a stipend, housing, studio space, supplies allowance, and travel reimbursement, enabling artists to focus on their work while engaging with a vibrant community of peers and scholars.
