Description
The Doctoral Clinical Fellowships from Alzheimer's Research UK are designed for clinically qualified healthcare professionals in the UK who do not yet hold a PhD and have limited research experience. The scheme supports fellows as they pursue a higher research degree (typically a PhD) or other independent research plans, aiming to build the research skills, experience, and track record necessary to compete for advanced fellowships and become future leaders in dementia research. Projects must align with the Alzheimer’s Research UK Research Strategy, focusing on the treatment, diagnosis, or prevention of dementia. Fellows may also opt for a clinical trial placement, gaining hands-on experience in the design and delivery of dementia clinical trials.
