    Description

The NATA Research & Education Foundation’s Doctoral Student Grants Program supports research that advances the athletic training profession. Part of the Foundation’s Student Research Grant Program, it considers proposals in all topic areas relevant to athletic training and selects projects based on their quality. Multiple student awards are typically available each year.

The program supports both research and dissemination, with all study activities other than dissemination completed during the first year. Proposals should explain their potential impact on athletic training and alignment with the Foundation’s Research Priorities and the Athletic Training Research Agenda. Funding can supplement an ongoing project when necessary for the student to complete it, or co-fund a planned project, but cannot duplicate support already provided by another funding agency.
