Description
The Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program (PRMRP), anticipated for FY26 under the Defense Appropriations Act, is a Department of Defense (DoD) initiative managed by the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) at the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command. The program funds research of clear scientific merit that directly addresses the health, care, and well-being of military service members, veterans, and beneficiaries. Projects must be aligned with at least one Congressionally directed topic area for FY26, with a strong emphasis on military health priorities. While the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation (DMRF) highlights this opportunity for dystonia researchers, the PRMRP is a DoD program and not administered by DMRF.
